<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique in which an IP address can be allocated to a transmission device to be newly installed, in an easier and quicker manner than before.SOLUTION: The transmission system has: a plurality of transmission devices arranged on a network; and a control device which monitors and controls the network. Each of the transmission devices has a list of identification information of the plurality of transmission devices and a list of address information on the network. When a new transmission device is installed on the network, identification information of the new transmission device is acquired from the control device, adds it to the list of the identification information, and allocates the address information of the new transmission device on the basis of the list of the identification information and the list of the address information when receiving a request signal which requests allocation of the address information on the network from the new transmission device.</p> |
