<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening tool, hitting rod, jig and fastening tool fixing method capable of attaining a fastening strength required between the fastening tool fastened to a thin sheet metal and the sheet metal.SOLUTION: This invention is made such that a main body 2 of a fastening tool 1 is set in a hole 11 of a jig 10 and subsequently a lower hole 8 of a sheet metal 7 is set at a caulking part 4 and the sheet metal 7 is put on the fastening tool 1. A hammer 20 is inserted into a through-hole 6 of the caulking part 4 of the fastening tool 1 from an inserting part 22, the caulking part 4 is pressed from above a central axis by the inserting part 22, expanded in a surrounding region and further the caulking part 4 is formed around the lower hole 8 of the sheet metal 7 by a forming part 23 and fastened. After this operation, the hammer 20 is pulled out of it, subsequently the jig 10 is pulled out of the main body 2 of the jig 1 to complete the fastening operation, the fastening part 4 of the fastening tool 1 is fastened around the lower hole 8 of the sheet metal 7 and fixed there.</p> |
