PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drop address memory for which large memory in an address space is available, and a ring network using the same.SOLUTION: A drop address memory includes a first memory, a second memory, and a third memory. When a first successive bit strings and a second successive bit strings as the targets are registered, the first successive bit strings and the second successive bit strings are separated into a first division of the successive bit strings collecting a constant number of the first successive bit strings from the top of the first successive bit strings, a second division of the successive bit strings collecting a constant number of the first successive bit strings from the bottom in which the first division of the successive bit strings and a part of the collected bit strings are overlapped, and a third division of the successive bit strings collecting low-order bit strings of the second successive bit strings as necessary, and they are wrote on respective memories. '1' is wrote down on the address specified by the first division of the successive bit strings in the first memory, '1' is wrote down on the address specified by the second division of the successive bit strings in the second memory, and '1' is wrote down on the address specified by the third division of the successive bit strings in the third memory. |
