PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drop address memory for which large memory in an address space is available, and a ring network using the same.SOLUTION: A drop address memory to which a plurality of bit strings are registered includes a first memory, and a second memory. When target successive bit strings are registered on the drop address memory, the successive bit strings are separated into a first division of the successive bit strings collecting a constant number of bit strings from the top of the bit strings, and a second division of the successive bit strings collecting a constant number of bit strings from the bottom of the bit strings in which the first division of the successive bit strings and a part of the collected bit strings are overlapped, and they are wrote on respective memories. '1' is wrote down on the address specified by the first division of the successive bit strings in the first memory. |
