PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of suppressing a variation in contact pressure of a regulating member at a regulation part, while supplying a desired amount of developer to a developing area, and an image forming apparatus and a process cartridges including the developing device.SOLUTION: A developing device 4 includes a developing roller 42 having a rugged shape comprising protrusions 42a and recesses 42b on the surface, and a doctor blade 45 having a leading edge part 45g including a cantilevered free edge brought into contact with the surface of the developing roller 42 to regulate the amount of a toner T directed toward a developing areaα. The leading edge part 45g of the doctor blade 45 has the Young's modulus measured according to JIS Z 2280 higher than that of a body part 45h of the doctor blade 45. |
