PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubrication oil filter capable of capturing metal ions contained in lubrication oil, a metal component detector capable of accurately detecting an amount of metal ions contained in lubrication oil, and an abnormality diagnosis device capable of diagnosing an abnormality of an apparatus in an early stage.SOLUTION: A filter part 11 of an oil filter 10 is constituted of an inner filter 14 which has hydroxyapatite vapor-deposited on it and is disposed in a center part and an outer filter 15 composed solely of an oil element. On the outer peripheral surface of the filter part 11, permanent magnets 12 are arranged along the circumferential direction. By mounting the oil filter 10 in an oil pipe 31, aluminum ions are captured in the inner filter 14 through ion exchange. In the outer filter 15, iron ions are collected by the magnetic force of the permanent magnets.
