<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article of footwear (a shoe) that can be put on in whichever direction, the front or the rear, the position of the shoe may be facing since, if the position is in the reverse direction relative to a user of the shoe, the user is inconveniently unable to put it on unless the direction is changed.SOLUTION: A foot cover is provided in two places across the center of one shoe, so that it can be put on from either directions, the front or the rear. For the purpose of facilitating insertion of the toe into the entrance of the foot covers, a spring is installed on the sole in the reverse side of the foot covers in a manner covering the entire foot covers, with the height of the foot cover entrance maintained, and with the shoe made easy to put on. The toe is inserted in one of the two foot covers while the other foot cover is stepped on by the heel. When the shoe is taken off, the heel is away and, simultaneously with it, the foot cover entrance is immediately returned to the height for the toe to be easily put in by means of the spring force of the spring device installed inside the foot cover. Then, the state is maintained in which the next person can put in the shoe any time from the front and the rear position.</p> |
