PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool a heating element efficiently with a compact cooler of simple configuration.SOLUTION: A cooler 20 has an evaporation vessel 24 housing refrigerant. Interior of the evaporation vessel 24 is sectioned by a partition wall 36 into a boiling chamber 41 and a condensation chamber 42. The boiling chamber 41 is located below the center so that the refrigerant evaporates easily by receiving heat of a heating element. The condensation chamber 42 is formed above and the side of the boiling chamber 41, so that the vapor of refrigerant is liquefied easily by exchanging heat on the upper surface 31A. The liquefied refrigerant is introduced to the side of the condensation chamber 42 and forms a liquid pool 40. Refrigerant of the liquid pool 40 is sucked into the central boiling chamber 41 by capillary phenomenon of a porous member 35. |
