PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the retention of accurate position data in a digital camera.SOLUTION: An external apparatus (mobile telephone) of the digital camera acquires position data (current location data) using an assist-type GPS etc. The digital camera acquires and retains position data from the external apparatus by periodic communication, to use to give to imaged image data etc. After there is a long time communication connection interception by the removal of a battery from the digital camera, etc., when the connection is restored, the camera immediately acquires up-to-date position data from the external apparatus to update the retention data. |
