PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound thin film solar cell capable of suppressing peeling between a metal substrate and an isolating layer, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a compound thin film solar cell comprises the steps of: preparing a metal substrate 11 containing iron as a main component, aluminum (Al), and chrome (Cr) and forming an alumina layer 12 by thermal oxidation on at least an element formation surface of the metal layer 11; forming an insulating layer 13 on the alumina layer 12; forming a first electrode layer on the insulating layer 13; forming a compound light absorption layer on the first electrode layer; and forming a second electrode layer on the compound light absorption layer. |
