PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance availability of a system.SOLUTION: An information processing device 1 comprises instruction means 1a and calculation means 1b, and gives a service provision start instruction or a service provision stop instruction to a plurality of physical servers 51, 52, 61 and 62. The calculation means 1b monitors an operation status of equipment of a plurality of chassis 50 and 60 which are provided with one or more physical servers and the equipment used for operation of the provided physical servers. The calculation means 1b calculates a degree of equipment abnormality which indicates a degree that the physical servers provided on the chassis become unavailable to provide service because of abnormality in the equipment of the chassis 50 and 60. The instruction means 1a gives the service provision start instruction or the service provision stop instruction to the physical servers on the basis of the degree of equipment abnormality for each of the plurality of chassis 50 and 60.
