PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire information about a three-dimensional image by preventing overlap and omission of an optical image formed by a refractive index distribution lens.SOLUTION: A three-dimensional image acquisition device comprises a refractive index distribution lens array 12, an objective optical system 17, and an imager 13. A distance g between the refractive index distribution lens array 12 and the imager 13 is set so that the spread width of a difference by which light emitted from the emission end face 32 of the refractive index distribution lens 30 is spread in a lens radial direction at the position of the imager 13 is equal to the distance between the adjacent refractive index distribution lenses 30. The effective aperture &OHgr; of the objective optical system 17 is set to such a size that light of a subject from the maximum range &thetas;, which can be received by the refractive index distribution lenses 30 via the objective optical system 17, can be received by all the refractive index distribution lenses 30 arranged in a refractive index distribution lens array 12. |
