PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold detection device for detecting identification information of a mold fitted to a mold fitting part.SOLUTION: A power supply electrode 31 and plural detection electrode 32 are provided at the inner wall of a mold fitting part. When a mold having a power income electrode and a displacement electrode is fitted in the mold fitting part, the power supply electrode 31 and the power income electrode face each other, and the detection electrode 32 and the displacement electrode face each other, to form capacitor circuits. The mold includes an identification information dispatching circuit mounted between the power income electrode and the displacement electrode. A mold information/position detection unit 11 supplies an AC power supply signal of a mixture of first and second frequencies to the power supply electrode 31. The identification information dispatching circuit dispatches the identification information of the mold correspondingly to the interval of the first frequency. A voltage information take-out unit 330 takes out the identification information of the mold from the detection electrode 32 as voltage information. An information/position detection operation unit 111 detects the identification information of the mold on the basis of the voltage information. |
