<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of keeping clean an interior of an indoor unit of an air conditioner at low cost and preventing an unpleasant odor or bacteria from being blown out from an air diffuser of an indoor unit while suppressing degradation in cooling and heating capabilities due to the reduction in an air volume in an indoor unit ventilation path through which indoor air passes.SOLUTION: An air conditioner of the invention includes: a filter that captures and collects dust contained in indoor air, and a heat exchanger; a blower fan that supplies the air so as to carry out heat exchange in the heat exchanger; a casing portion that guides a flow of the air from the blower fan; a diffuser arranged to be continuous to the casing portion; blades arranged at the diffuser, and controlling a vertical direction of the blown air; and an ultraviolet LED arranging upstream of the filter for capture and collection of dust in a direction of the air suction by the filter, and emitting an ultraviolet ray at a wavelength of 254 nm to 280 nm toward the heat exchanger.</p> |
