The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method to control a power supply system. An apparatus to control a power supply system in accordance to one example of the present invention includes an offset compensating circuit to equally divide an input voltage by n (n >2 and is a natural number) to output n-divided voltage; and a control unit to detect the n-divided voltage output from the offset compensating circuit through an analog-digital converter (ADC) and determining a level difference between the n-divided voltage value and a value obtained by dividing the input voltage by n as an offset compensating value.
