<p>The present invention provides a pressure medium and a method for producing graphite material using the same, wherein the pressure medium is used for a cold isostatic pressing (CIP) molding apparatus for producing graphite material, and even when the pressure medium is mixed with a raw material of the graphite material, the pressure medium can be readily removed. The pressure medium of the present invention is characterized in that the pressure medium is used in producing graphite material which is obtained by CIP molding on a raw powder material composed of pitch and coke powder. And the pressure medium is an emulsion including an oily substance having affinity for the raw powder material, water, and surfactant. In the method for producing graphite material according to the present invention, the raw powder material composed of pitch and coke powder is molded by CIP using the pressure medium.</p> |
