PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheath material using a nonwoven fabric capable of being wound around a wire harness without having a bad effect thereon.SOLUTION: A sheath material protecting a wire harness is formed in a sheet shape and composed of a tape or a sheet 1 which is configured of a nonwoven fabric layer 11, a UV impregnation layer 10 and an adhesive layer 12 and formed by impregnating an ultraviolet curing resin 3 into at least one surface of a nonwoven fabric 2. Since the ultraviolet curing resin has a gel-like form having flexibility before ultraviolet light irradiation and is cured so as not to be deformable after the ultraviolet light irradiation, the wire harness having the sheath material wound therearound is bent along a wiring path, and cured and formed by the ultraviolet light irradiation.
