PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell in which retention of bubbles can be suppressed while minimizing output reduction.SOLUTION: A fuel cell 3 includes a cell stack 10 formed by laminating a plurality of unit cells 45 in the horizontal direction. In the cell stack 10, a fuel supply path 88 for supplying liquid fuel to the plurality of unit cells 45, respectively, and a fuel discharge path 90 for discharging liquid fuel from the plurality of unit cells 45, respectively, are formed.
