PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make transport materials transported in a plurality of transport paths smoothly converge with a simple device structure.SOLUTION: A converging device of the present invention includes: first and second gates provided at each of two transport paths traveling side by side, and individually turned with a width direction of the corresponding transport path as a turning shaft upon receiving pressing force by transport materials transported at each of the two transport paths; a first cam member that is a flat plate cam, fixed to the turning shaft of the first gate and rotated; a second cam member that is a flat plate cam, fixed to the turning shaft of the second gate and rotated; and a counter shaft including, on both ends at least in a fixed state, a first pressed part pressed during the rotation of the first cam member, and moving according to the cam profile of the first cam member and a second pressed part pressed during the rotation of the second cam member, and moving according to the cam profile of the second cam member, and also non-rotatably holding the other cam member when either of the first cam member or the second cam member is rotated. |
