摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-plate type clutch device which can further reduce drag torque and adhesive torque, and can reduce the weight of the device simultaneously.SOLUTION: The multi-plate type clutch device comprises: a clutch disc 6; a clutch plate 7; and a friction material 10 which is formed along a face opposing the clutch plate 7 of the clutch disc 6, and can pressure-contact with or separate from the clutch plate 7. In the multi-plate type clutch device, power is transmitted between an engine side and a wheel side by the pressure contact of the clutch disc 6 and the clutch plate 7 via the friction material 10, and the transmission of the power can be blocked by the release of the pressure contact force. A recess 11 notched toward the inside from the external edge of the clutch plate 7 is formed at the clutch plate 7, and a part of the friction plate 10 is positioned within a forming range of the recess 11 in a state that the clutch disc 6 is overlapped thereon.
