PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflection film, a polarizing plate having an antireflection film, and a transmission-type liquid crystal display, having excellent hard coat property, transparency and scratch resistance as well as blocking resistance.SOLUTION: An antireflection film includes, at least on one surface of a transparent base material 11, from a side of the transparent base material 11: a hard coat layer 12 made from a coating liquid for a hard coat layer formation; and a low refractive index layer 13 made from a coating liquid for a low refractive index layer formation, in this order. The coating liquid for a low refractive index layer formation includes: an ionization radiation curable resin including a monofunctional monomer or a polyfunctional monomer having two or more (meth)acryloyl groups within one molecule; low refractive index particles; and a reactivity leveling agent having an acryloyl group. An ultramicro indentation hardness at a portion 50 nm deeper than a surface of the low refractive index layer 13 is within a range of 0.40-1.0 GPa. |
