<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealed battery which, even when there is a variation in component dimensions of a gasket, etc., can prevent excessive or insufficient compression of the gasket when other end of a collector terminal member is caulked to a connection member.SOLUTION: A battery 10 comprises: a power generation element 20; a lid member 32; an external terminal member 40; a collector terminal member 45; and a gasket 51 for insulating the lid member 32 and the collector terminal member 45. A lid-side protrusion 32a compressing the gasket 51 from above is formed on a face on the gasket 51 side of the lid member 32 (area A), and a terminal-side protrusion 45d compressing the gasket 51 from under is formed, at a position facing the lid-side protrusion 32a, on a face on the gasket 51 side of the collector terminal member 45 (area B). The areas A and B and an area C are formed in sizes differing from each other, the area C being an area other than the terminal-side protrusion 45d among the top face of the collector terminal member 45 facing the gasket 51, .</p> |
