摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the stability of a Rankine cycle circuit.SOLUTION: When an internal combustion engine 1 operates and a Rankine cycle circuit 6 operates, a flow adjustment valve 23 is actuated in response to an instruction signal from a control device 22 to control a position of the valve, to adjust an opening amount of a valve seat, and to adjust a flow rate of exhaust gas that flows from an exhaust path 2 to a bypass path 3. If the flow adjustment valve 23 malfunctions, a valve detection sensor 26 detects that the flow adjustment valve 23 malfunctions and transmits a detection signal to the control device 22. The control device 22 transmits an instruction signal to a solenoid valve 21 to open a discharge port 20 of a circulation tube 11 in response to the detection signal transmitted from the valve detection sensor 26. The solenoid valve 21 opens the discharge port 20 of the circulation tube 11, accordingly. Owing to this, a working fluid circulating the circulation tube 11 in an exhaust heat exchanger 13 is discharged early from the discharge port 20 to outside of a system of the Rankine cycle circuit 6 before the working fluid is abnormally heated, thereby improving stability of the Rankine cycle circuit 6.
