Disclosed in the present invention is a valve train having a roller-type tappet capable of reducing an abrasion between a cam and a tappet and energy loss by facilitating a rolling movement between the cam and tappet using a roller. According to an embodiment, the disclosed valve train includes a cam fixated to a cam shaft to rotate with the cam shaft; a tappet installed on one end of the cam to convert the rotational movement of the cam into a vertical movement; and a valve connected to the tappet to open and close a duct by vertically moving together with the tappet. The tappet includes a roller shaft which penetrates the tappet and is fixated to the tappet; multiple roller bearings formed to surround the roller shaft; and a roller formed to surround the roller shaft and roller bearings. |
