PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifuge capable of reducing consumption of an electrical power for charging an energy storage.SOLUTION: A centrifuge 10 includes: an electric motor 18 rotating by being supplied with an electric power from a capacitor 38; a rotor 15 rotating by power of the electric motor 18 and retaining a sample to which a centrifugal power is applied; and a controlling circuit 21 predicting whether or not an operation of rotating the electric motor 18 is executed before the operation of rotating the electric motor 18 in a state that the capacitor 38 can be charged. The controlling circuit 21 charges the capacitor 38 when it is predicted that the operation of rotating the electric motor 18 is executed, but not charge the capacitor 38 when it is predicted that the operation of rotating the electrical motor 18 is not executed. |
