PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte suppressing capacity deterioration during charge/discharge cycles and high-temperature storage, and a nonaqueous electrolyte battery including the nonaqueous electrolyte.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte including a lithium salt and a nonaqueous organic solvent contains at least one or more kinds of compounds represented by the following formula (1). (In the formula (1), Land Leach independently represent an organic group including group 13-16 elements of the periodic table.)
