PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably generate power in a power generator, supply power with high readiness, and effectively utilize exhaust heat to increase energy efficiency of power generation.SOLUTION: A power storage system 100 includes: a power generator 110 generating power; a sodium ion storage battery 112 storing power in a dischargeable manner; and a heat transfer path (114, 118, 116) for supplying exhaust heat generated at the time when the power generator 110 generates power to the sodium ion storage battery 112 through a heat transfer medium. Power is stored while the sodium ion storage battery 112 is activated. |
