<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression system in which an inverter can be made compact and integrated with a compression unit.SOLUTION: A compression system includes a compression unit 11 having a motor 112 in which a rotor 112a rotates about an axis O on the basis of a revolving magnetic field, a compressor 111 for compressing a fluid by means of an impeller 111b when a shaft 111a connected with the rotor 112a rotates about the axis O, and a first casing 113 for housing the motor 112 and the compressor 111 integrally, and a power supply unit 12 having an inverter 121 provided with a SiC element as a switching element 123, and supplying a current for generating a revolving magnetic field to the motor 112, and a second casing 122 fixed to the first casing 113 integrally, with the inverter 121 being fixed to the inner surface thereof.</p> |
