摘要 An embodiment of the present invention relates to a motorway autonomous navigation system and method, which may comprise a motorway navigation determining unit for sensing whether vehicles come in or out a motorway based on the travel path information of the vehicles which has been transferred from a navigation device, and determining whether the motorway for autonomous navigation is main lane by detecting a lane from a traveling road image obtained through a camera device; and an autonomous navigation controlling unit for controlling the operation of an autonomous navigation mode based on the information on the entering of the motorway, the exiting of the motorway, and the main lane of the motorway which are sensed by the motorway navigation determining unit.
