LOCKING APPARATUS FOR CASH BOX

The present invention relates to a locking apparatus for a cash box capable of automatically fixing the cash box in a receiving space by fixing a latch member gripped by a locker member by widening an interval of the locker member mounted in the receiving space along the incline of the latch member fixed to the cash box and elastically narrowing the interval if the cash box is inputted to the receiving space of a bill recognizing apparatus. The locking apparatus for the cash box includes the locker member and the latch member. The locker member includes a hook-shaped protrusion on one side thereof. A pair of protrusions are arranged on the upper and lower sides of the receiving space in the bill recognizing apparatus to face each other. A center part thereof is hinged to the inner sidewall of the receiving space and rotates. The other side of the locker member is connected by an elastic unit to mutually apply tension. The latch member is mounted on the outer side of the cash box. An upward inclined surface and a downward inclined surface are formed on the upper and lower sides of one side of the latch member, respectively. Fixing grooves which are concavely recessed inward are formed on the upper and lower sides of the other side of the latch member, respectively.
