PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchange tube including a drainage function that facilitates assembling a heat exchanger, and to provide a heat exchange tube manufacturing method that facilitates machining the heat exchange tube.SOLUTION: A corrugated fin-type heat exchanger is configured so that a plurality of flat heat exchange tubes 3 parallel to one another are arranged horizontally between a pair of header pipes 2a and 2b facing each other, and so that corrugated fins 4 formed by alternately repeating mountain folds and valley folds are joined together between the heat exchange tubes 3. Each of the heat exchange tubes 3 includes: a flat tube main body 3b including a heat medium circulation path; a pair of flanges extending on both ends of the tube main body in a width direction of the tube main body, respectively; cut-and-raised pieces 8a and 8b obtained by cutting and raising both of the flanges into inclined shapes with a distance appropriately kept therebetween along a longitudinal direction of the tube main body. The cut-and-raised pieces are formed so that inclination angles &thetas; of the cut-and-raised pieces are set equal to each other, and so that inclination directions of the cut-and-raised pieces are asymmetric on both ends of the tube main body in the width direction.
