PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch screen device which prevents the generation of chattering sound even during input operation.SOLUTION: A touch screen device 1 ensures a second clearance S2 between a peripheral edge portion of an opening 5 of an exterior case 2 and a panel surface 4a of a touch panel 4, and is provided with an elastic body 12 on a back surface of an easy deforming portion 2b extending along the peripheral edge portion of the opening 5. Between the elastic body 12 and the panel surface 4a of the touch panel 4, a third clearance S3 smaller than the clearance S2 is ensured. When the easy deforming portion 2b is pushed in and warped by input operation, the elastic body 12 is contacted with the panel surface 4a to displace the touch panel 4 backward, thereby preventing the vibrating touch panel 4 from directly touching with the peripheral edge portion of the opening 5. |
