PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition suitable for an optical compensation film, an optical compensation film which uses the same and is excellent in retardation characteristics, and a method for manufacturing the optical compensation film.SOLUTION: A resin composition contains: 1-40 wt.% of a fumaric acid ester polymer which contains 60-99 wt.% of a cellulose-based resin as a resin component, 40-95 mol% of a fumaric acid diisopropyl residue unit and 5-60 mol% of a fumaric acid monoester residue unit represented by a general formula (2); and further contains 0.01-30 wt.% of an additive having 70-99.99 wt.% of the resin component and an aromatic hydrocarbon ring or an aromatic hetero ring. An optical compensation film using the same, and a method for manufacturing the optical compensation film are provided. |
