PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound image localization device capable of stabilizing the behavior of a vehicle using stereophonic sound technology, and also capable of realizing the localization of a sound image by a relatively simple process, for greatly reduced calculation costs.SOLUTION: The speed of a vehicle itself is acquired (S100), the location of the vehicle at a present point of time is acquired (S110), and the shape of a road is obtained (S120) to acquire the curvature of the road (S130). Then, a future location of the vehicle, i.e., its location T seconds later, is estimated, and a command value is calculated using the future location as a prediction point of regard (S150). A sound image is localized by outputting this command value (S160). In other words, a future location of the vehicle is estimated, and, by using the future location as a prediction point of regard, the sound image is localized at the point of regard. |
