PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post-processing device capable of suppressing unintended changeover of processing mode of staple processing so as to improve convenience in a configuration that the device has an operation part for changing processing mode of staple processing formed of automatic mode and manual mode.SOLUTION: The post-processing device is configured so that a post-processing control part changes processing mode from automatic mode to manual mode when a mode change operation part receives operation for changing to manual mode in a state that a cover for covering the mode change operation part is opening, is detected by the post-processing control part.
