PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impeller of a cross-flow water turbine in which dust is not caught by blades as much as possible.SOLUTION: In an impeller of a cross-flow water turbine, an intermediate plate is projected in a flange shape to an intermediate part in an axial length direction of a rotational shaft, a plurality of blades are arranged with intervals in a radial direction of the rotational shaft and in a state of extending substantially radially with respect to the rotational shaft, and the plurality of blades are projected from both surfaces of a radial directional outer peripheral part of the intermediate plate to the axial length direction of the rotational shaft in a state of cantilever support.
