PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring pulverized coal concentration that measures the concentration of pulverized coal across the whole cross section of a pulverized coal pipe by using simple and low-cost means that allows a sampling port of a sampling pipe to be disposed across the whole cross section of the pulverized coal pipe.SOLUTION: A plurality of first insertion holes 18 are formed in a circumferential direction in a sampling portion 12a of a pulverized coal pipe 12 through which pulverized coal flows. The device for measuring pulverized coal concentration includes: an annular casing 20 which is attached to the outer peripheral surface of the pulverized coal pipe 12 turnably in such a manner that the annular casing 20 covers the sampling portion 12a and which has a second insertion hole 20a; a sampling pipe 14 which has a sampling port 16 at the end thereof and is inserted from the first insertion hole 18 and the second insertion hole 20a into the inside of the pulverized coal pipe 12; a blower that is connected to the sampling pipe 14 and sucks a part of air containing the pulverized coal from the sampling port 16; and a cyclone separator that separates the pulverized coal from the air sucked into the sampling pipe 14 by the blower. The pulverized coal concentration measuring device calculates the concentration of the pulverized coal in the sampled air flow on the basis of the weight of the pulverized coal separated from the air and the flow rate of the air. |
