The present invention relates to a method and a device for monitoring a battery including multiple cells connected in series and, more particularly, to a device for remotely monitoring a state of a battery, a device for wirelessly transmitting measured data, and a method for monitoring received data by a server. According to an embodiment of the present invention, real-time voltage, current, resistance, temperature, state of charge (SOC), and state of health (SOH) of an individual battery or a battery pack of a storage battery used in an energy storage system (ESS) or past battery materials can be downloaded from a server in a remote place using the internet network, and a warning message can be transmitted from the server when the battery is in danger according to the setting performed by an operator. |
