Disclosed are a video coding method, a video decoding method, and a device thereof. According to the present invention, the video coding method codes video based on a hierarchical data unit, determines a context model used in entropy coding of syntactic elements of the data unit based on one or more sets of additional data of the data unit, and entropy-codes the syntactic element of the data unit using the determined context model. |
