摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation device capable of improving efficiency of power generation by vibration, the power generation device being configured to generate power by giving vibration to a magnetostrictor.SOLUTION: A support 8a is vibrated by receiving vibration in an arrow direction from a vibration source 10 and vibration power conversion means is resonated which is formed from a magnetostrictive member 3a, a magnetic member 4a, first and second connection members 40a and 40b, magnetic coils 5a, 5b, joints 6a, 6b, permanent magnets 7a, 7b and a weight body 2a (if mounted). When the magnetostrictive member 3a is deformed large by resonance, a magnetic flux of the magnetostrictive member 3a is significantly changed by inverse magnetostrictive effects. Therefore, an induction voltage (induction current) is generated in the magnetic coil 5a or 5b wound around at least one of the first and second connection members 40a, 40b and generated power is received in a power supply circuit 11a and supplied from the power supply circuit 11a to a load (not shown in the figure).
