PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption with a small circuit scale even when a plurality of CPUs are connected to a common bus.SOLUTION: The processor comprises: a bus for transferring data in response to a bus clock; a plurality of CPUs respectively connected to the bus for operating in response to a CPU clock, and for outputting information related to the frequency of the CPU clock and the frequency of the bus clock, which is requested by each of the CPUs; and clock management means for supplying the CPU clock to each of the plurality of CPUs, and for supplying the bus clock to the bus. The clock management means determines the frequency of the CPU clock to be supplied to each of the plurality of CPUs and the frequency of the bus clock on the basis of the information output from the plurality of CPUs, and related to the frequency of the CPU clock and the frequency of the bus clock. |
