PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery module for promoting heat conduction of a secondary battery to a cooling member.SOLUTION: A battery module includes: a flat type secondary battery having an electrolyte and a power generating element housed in an internal space formed by being sealed by an outer sheath member; and a heat absorption part 2 having a metal part 21 and absorbing heat of a secondary battery 1. The heat absorption part 2 is composed of the metal part 21 and an insulation part 22 and has the insulation part 22 between the outer sheath member and the metal part 21. The battery module is configured so that a melting point of the insulation part 22 is lower than a boiling point of the electrolyte or a melting point of a separator contained in the power generating element. |
