PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential scanning calorimeter whose measurement accuracy is improved inexpensively.SOLUTION: Protruded potions 321 are formed on a heating furnace 2 side surface of a retainer plate (heat transfer plate) 32 located between a heating furnace 2 and a heater 31. The protruded portions 321 are symmetrically arranged about a center line between a target sample mounting section 211 and a reference material mounting section 212. Limiting contact between the retainer plate 32 and the heating furnace 2, to the protruded portions 321 improves contact tightness in the contact areas and a heat transfer rate between the retainer plate 32 and the heating furnace 2, which means that measurement accuracy can be improved inexpensively using a simple configuration that the protruded portions 321 are formed. |
