PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To peel a cover tape off from a carrier tape with high accuracy.SOLUTION: The end of a preceding carrier tape 312 and the tip of a following carrier tape 311 are abutted by driving a sprocket 206 for positioning a carrier tape 300 in the transfer direction, and then transferring the following carrier tape 311 forward. The preceding carrier tape 312 is pushed out to the downstream side of the cutting edge of a peeling blade 210 in the forward direction, the sprocket 206 is driven reversely, the following carrier tape 311 is transferred in the reverse direction until the tip of the following carrier tape 311 is located on the upstream side of the peeling blade 210 in the forward direction, and then the sprocket 206 is driven forward to transfer the following carrier tape 311 forward again, thus peeling a cover tape 307. |
