PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an LED device having excellent light extraction efficiency without decreasing a gas barrier property over a long period.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an LED device including an LED element, a translucent layer, and a wavelength conversion layer comprises the steps of: preparing the LED element; forming the translucent layer by applying a composition containing a first translucent ceramic material including a translucent ceramic material and a solvent onto the LED element and curing the applied composition; applying a phosphor dispersion liquid containing phosphor particles, swellable particles, inorganic particles, and a solvent onto the translucent layer and drying the applied liquid; and forming the wavelength conversion layer by further applying a composition containing a second translucent ceramic material including a translucent ceramic material and a solvent onto the translucent layer and curing the applied composition. |
