PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compression unit that can be easily maintained.SOLUTION: A compression unit 1 comprises: an electric motor 2 including a stator 21 and a rotor 22 rotated about an axis line by an interaction with the stator 21; a compressor 3 including a shaft 31 integrally connected to the rotor 22 and rotated about the axis line together with the rotor 22 and an impeller 32 provided to the shaft 31; an inner casing 4 that houses the electric motor 2 and the compressor 3 inside and can be divided into a plurality of parts in the circumferential direction of the axis line; and an outer casing 5 that houses the inner casing 4 inside so that it can be moved relatively in the axis line direction.
