PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry a cable drum by mounting a laying drum frame to the drum easily on the job site and to float the drum on the job site so as to easily place the drum on the frame.SOLUTION: A laying drum frame is formed from a shaft 1 passed through a center hole of a drum D and two support frames 2 including shaft supporting parts 3 supporting the shaft 1 protruding outside of flanges on both sides of the drum D. In each of the support frames 2, an arcuate portion 2c extends from one end of a linear portion 2b. The arcuate portion 2c forms a folding portion 2d and an apex portion 2e and is connected to the linear portion 2b. The shaft support part 3 is supported in the vicinity of the apex portion 2e of the arcuate portion 2c in the case where the linear portion 2b is placed on the ground or on the floor. In such a state, the flanges of the drum are floated from the ground or the floor and the folding portion 2d protrudes outside of the flanges of the drum. |
