PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly provide information of power consumption and information of a charging via-point following an actual environment.SOLUTION: The information providing device for a vehicle includes: a history information accumulation part 26 for successively acquiring at least one of travel position information, power consumption information and charging position information from an in-vehicle device loaded on a vehicle using a motor as a drive source, and for accumulating it as travel history information; an input part 27 for inputting a destination point from a departure point; a range setting part 27 for setting a departure point range and a destination point range; a presentation route determination part 27 for determining a retrieved travel route as a presentation route by referring to the travel history information accumulated in the history information accumulation part; a presentation information determination part 27 for determining at least one of power consumption to be consumed when the vehicle travels on the presentation route and a charging via-point; and a presentation information providing part 24 for providing information of a determination result obtained by the presentation route determination part and a determination result obtained by the presentation information determination part.
