PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with measures against core-side heat for welding in a structure of bonding a header tank 3 to a core 2 of a heat exchanger 1 by welding.SOLUTION: A bevel 34 is provided on an entire periphery of an opening edge of a header tank 3 such that the bevel 34 is inclined from an inner surface to an outer surface of the header tank 3 at a predetermined beveling angle &thetas;1. A second inclined portion 35 is provided in at least a part of the opening edge of the header tank 3 such that the second inclined portion 35 is inclined from the outer surface to the inner surface of the header tank 3 at an angle &thetas;2 grater than the predetermined beveling angle &thetas;1. |
