The present invention relates to a device for collecting condition data of a ship and reacting to an emergency by transmitting and receiving condition data and an emergency reaction command wirelessly through an air conditioning duct installed between compartments and a method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the device for collecting condition data of a ship includes a collection sensor unit which is installed inside a ship, detects the condition of the installed space, and transmits the detected condition data via a wire to a data collection unit; the data collection unit which receives the condition data from the collection sensor unit and transmits the received condition data to a data receiving unit wirelessly through an air condition duct installed between compartments of the ship; the data receiving unit which receives the condition data from the data collection unit and transmits the data to a data processing unit; and the data processing unit which receives the condition data from the data receiving unit and analyzes the data.
